LIBRARY
A lavish reading hall of spacious capacity of is our specialty. The Library is open from 7am to 7pm on all working days. Compulsory reading hours from 8am to 10am round the year, has been well appreciated by the students and parents.
By the end of just 4 years, the library is rich by 4646 volumes of the Pharmacy books. 30 National & International Journals are regularly pouring in.
STUDENT PREPARATION
Pharmacy is a professional education. It is altogether a new concept for the students passing 12th. Special efforts are taken to make them understand the academics. A daily record of the lectures & practicals held is checked by the Principal & Director.
For student preparation tutorials, work assignments & participating seminars are held regularly with projection facilities. This helps to develop expression skill & confidence in them. Along with the regular sessional examinations, special improvement tests are carried to boost their academic performance. All the students have compulsory reading hours from 8 am to 10 am daily.
Answer sheets of every student are analyzed at the staff meetings. The student is individually made aware of his performance in the examinations and the ways to improve it. From the third year onwards they are exposed to industry visits, interactions, campus interviews, GATE preparation etc…
PLACEMENTS
'Yash parivar' strongly believes that, the Pharmacy education has to be career oriented.
Globalization of pharmaceutical industry has raised the need of professionals in great respects.
Aurangabad area is enriched with nearly 300 drug & pharmaceutical industries.
This includes leaders like Lupin, Wockhardt, Johnson & Johnson, Rosche, FDC, Ajanta, Medley, Encore, TTK & so on.
The Industry experience & career has a better prospect here, thus.
In this regard, the Institute has established an 'IndustryInteraction Cell' & 'Placement Cell'. This includes the faculties with industry experience & experts from Industry on the Advisory committee. In third & Fourth year of Pharmacy Industry visits, Training & Campus interviews are planned. Eminent persons from the Industry are invited in the campus for student interactions, guest lectures & presentations. 17 students from very first batch are placed in multinational pharmaceutical companies even before appearing for final year examinations.
